The new date set for Ayuso's boyfriend's appearance that seems final

Finally, there already seems to be a specific date for the statement of Isabel Díaz Ayuso's boyfriend. This is agreed upon in a resolution in which the judge doesn't heed the prosecutor's request to call the investigated parties by next Monday at the latest. Just before Ayuso's boyfriend's scheduled professional trip abroad.

Judge Inmaculada Iglesias has summoned Ayuso's boyfriend to testify on February 24. He will do so as a suspect in the case investigating the alleged commission of tax crimes. Meanwhile, one of document forgery following a complaint from the Prosecutor's Office.

The statements initially scheduled for February 7 were postponed. This happened after it was confirmed that there was already a prior summons for that same day in the Court of First Instance number 46 of Madrid. Additionally, it was argued that the suspect, Alberto González Amador, had a work trip planned from February 4 to February 12, 2025.

Meanwhile, the judge points out that, after the allegations presented in the corresponding document, the other parties involved were informed. In order for them to express their position regarding the request to suspend the statements. At least until the Provincial Court of Madrid solves the appeal related to the opening of a separate case.

In this regard, both the Prosecutor's Office and the popular prosecution and the State Attorney showed their opposition to the suspension of the interrogations of the suspects in the main case.

In reply, the judge has determined that the statements will take place on February 24 at 10:00 a.m.

The previous week, the investigating judge had already postponed the appearance at the defense's request. Since it coincided with a prior summons in the Court of First Instance number 46 and, additionally, Ayuso's boyfriend had a professional trip scheduled for the same dates.

This summons is part of the investigation into his alleged involvement in two tax fraud crimes. Meanwhile, another of a commercial document forgery crime, related to alleged tax evasion attributed to him by the Madrid Prosecutor's Office.

So far, the statements have been postponed four times. The first suspension took place last June 24, after the popular prosecution, represented by PSOE and Más Madrid, requested the expansion of the investigation. This with the aim of including five possible new crimes, based on the analysis of a report from the Tax Agency incorporated into the file.
