Jessica and Ábalos's Former Number Three Will Testify Soon in the ''koldo Case''

These appearances aim to clarify the corruption allegations surrounding the former minister and his entourage.

The Supreme Court Begins a Key Week in the Investigation of the Koldo Case, with the Testimony of Jéssica Rodríguez, former partner of José Luis Ábalos, and Jesús Manuel Gómez, former Undersecretary of Transport. These hearings aim to clarify the corruption accusations surrounding the former minister and his circle.

On Tuesday, Jesús Manuel Gómez, who was dismissed after an audit on mask contracts during the pandemic, will open the round of testimonies. Gómez has previously stated that Koldo García provided him with offers from companies like Soluciones de Gestión SL for the acquisition of medical supplies. Additionally, he has indicated that García's instructions were considered as directives from the minister himself.

On Wednesday, it will be Jéssica Rodríguez's turn, whose relationship with Ábalos has sparked interest due to possible benefits obtained during her management. Contracts in public companies and possible links to the illegal commissions scheme are being investigated. Her testimony could provide details about the former minister's involvement in the investigated activities.

These statements occur in a context where Víctor de Aldama, businessman and alleged leader of the scheme, has presented documents to Judge Leopoldo Gómez. Among them, rental receipts for tourist apartments where meetings with politicians and international figures were allegedly held. Aldama has also provided evidence of alleged rigging in the awarding of public contracts related to the Ministry of Transport.

The investigation has led the judge to impose precautionary measures on Ábalos. Including the withdrawal of his passport and the obligation to appear every 15 days. These actions reflect the seriousness of the accusations and the court's determination to clarify the facts.

In addition to the statements from Gómez and Rodríguez, the appearance of other key witnesses is expected in the coming days. Among them, the businesswoman who claimed to have delivered 90,000 euros at the PSOE headquarters at Aldama's direction. These testimonies will be crucial to determine the truth of the accusations and the degree of involvement of those investigated.
