Costa Blanca Promotes Alicante Province at Navartur Fair in Pamplona
The Tourism Board highlights Alicante's cultural, heritage, and gastronomic appeal.
Legislature de Alicante, through Patronato Costa Blanca, is participating next weekend in the Navartur Reyno de Navarra Fair in Pamplona, aiming to promote the province's tourism offerings. Culture, heritage, sports, health, enogastronomy, and active tourism are some of the attractions that will be showcased at this event, considered one of the most significant in northern Spain.
The director of Patronato, José Mancebo, has emphasized the importance of these actions at the national level. "Spain is our main source market and strengthening our presence at fairs like this allows us to consolidate Alicante as a reference destination," he stated.
During the fair, which last year attracted nearly 50,000 visitors and 189 national and international exhibitors, Patronato's technicians will establish strategic contacts and meetings with industry professionals to boost tourism in the province.
The Growing Navarre Market
Navarre tourism data reflect a notable increase in spending and length of stays. In the first three quarters of 2024, Navarre residents made 2.1 million trips and caused 10 million overnight stays. Total spending amounted to 770.6 million euros, 12.63% more than in 2023.
The average spending per person has grown by 18.3%, reaching 355.11 euros, while the daily spending per traveler rose by 17.68%, standing at 84.83 euros. "These figures indicate a trend toward longer stays and greater investment by tourists, which is very positive for Alicante as a destination," Mancebo concluded.
