The Castellón Legislature boosts its presence on social media
The provincial institution surpasses 14,500 followers on Instagram
The Provincial Legislature of Castellón continues to strengthen its digital communication strategy, surpassing 14,500 followers on its official Instagram account (@dipcas). In the last three months, the institution has increased its number of followers by 9.5%. It has established itself as a direct, transparent, and accessible channel for the people of Castellón and a promotional showcase for the province.
President of the Council Marta Barrachina highlighted that "social media allows us to connect daily with thousands of people, providing updated information and showcasing the cultural, social, and gastronomic richness of Castellón."
Impact and Reach on Social Media
The Council's Instagram account has recorded notable growth in reach and interactions during the last quarter:
Accounts reached: 347,677 (followers and non-followers).
Interactions: 7,288 active accounts.
The most prominent content has been those that combine relevant information and messages of social or cultural interest. This includes topics such as alerts, sporting events, and local achievements.
Success in the Collaboration with Chef Bosquet
President Barrachina emphasized the positive impact of the collaboration with Chef Bosquet. With more than 2 million followers on Instagram, he has projected the Castelló Ruta de Sabor brand nationally and internationally.
Since this collaboration began during the International Tourism Fair (Fitur) in 2024, the results have been significant:
Total views: 5.5 million, thanks to posts and events related to Castellón's gastronomy.
Chef Bosquet has been an active ambassador at fairs and showcookings, such as the one held at the inaugural day of Fitur 2025. There, he prepared a sweet dish combining chocolate, orange, and almond: key ingredients of the region.
"This type of initiative strengthens the union between local talent and the global projection offered by social media, taking the Castelló Ruta de Sabor brand beyond our borders," explained Barrachina.
Marta Barrachina reaffirmed the Council's commitment to social media as key tools for promoting the province and interacting with citizens. "We will continue to strengthen our presence on digital platforms to reach more people and continue positioning Castellón as a benchmark in tourism, gastronomy, and culture."
The Council's digital strategy confirms the value of social media as a communication engine and a driver of opportunities in the territory.
