Worldline and Its Challenge on Traveler Personalization With Data-ai

Worldline [Euronext: WLN], one of the world leaders in payment services, will participate in the 'Open Innovation Challenge' initiative.

"Open Innovation Challenge" is driven by ACCIÓ - Agència per la Competitivitat de l'Empresa, the Generalitat de Catalunya, and Enterprise Europe Network. The objective of this initiative is for large international companies to find the best innovative solutions to solve their technological challenges.

The initiative is developed in two phases. In the first phase, companies publish a technological challenge in the fields of artificial intelligence, big data, the internet of things, mobility, or robotics, among others.

During the second phase, technology companies or startups contact the companies to plan a meeting that showcases their capabilities to achieve the proposed challenge.

Bringing Together Companies with Startups and Technology Providers
From March 3 to 6, the MWC Open Innovation Challenge will hold face-to-face meetings between companies/investors and technology providers within Fira Gran Vía, the venue of the 4YFN congress in Barcelona. Worldline will be attending on March 5 to assist companies that want to help solve the proposed challenge.

Worldline's Challenge
Worldline has transportation and mobility solutions aimed at providing customers with efficient and seamless passenger transportation and mobility management.

In this context, Worldline has launched the challenge of how to use data and artificial intelligence to improve the traveler/passenger experience in various ways, such as understanding passenger preferences, travel patterns, and behaviors, in order to offer new travel/transportation options and tailored services to enhance their digital journey and trigger behavior change toward more sustainable modes of transportation.

The challenge must consider multimodal transportation (train, bus, tram, others), include the use of public open data sources, and address aspects related to sustainability and green transportation.

"Our challenge seeks to establish a connection with startups to find synergies on how to use data and artificial intelligence to improve the traveler/passenger experience within our transportation and mobility solutions," explains José María López, Coordinator of the Innovation Committee of Worldline Iberia.
