Who Is the Olympic Swimmer Convicted of Raping Girls?

In a case that has shocked British society, Antony James, former Olympic swimmer and prominent figure in the sports world, has been sentenced to 21 years in prison. This is for the rape of two minors.

Prosecutor Gemma Kneebone, in charge of the case, highlighted the manipulation and control that James exerted over his teenage victims to satisfy his own sexual desires. "He claimed that these young women were over 16 years old at that time, but this was a lie that crumbled after the interrogation," Kneebone stated.

James was very aware of how young these victims were and set out to exploit that in a truly heinous way.
