María Patiño's Tears Remembering Lydia Lozano: 'Sorry'
María Patiño got emotional in the latest episode of 'Ni que fuéramos' after recalling what happened with Lydia Lozano
Today's episode of Ni que Fuéramos was the last one, an episode full of emotion that deeply touched both the collaborators and its host, María Patiño. From the beginning, emotion took over the set, with a visibly affected María, who couldn't help but break down in tears as the broadcast began. Even María Patiño recalled what happened with Lydia Lozano in the first episode and had to apologize to the audience for crying and asked for "forgiveness."
"Good afternoon," Patiño greeted, trying to maintain composure before breaking down. "Sorry, you know me a little, these are the last hours of this wonderful project that began on May 15, 2024. Today we are going to say goodbye to this place, these walls, this neighborhood, we are moving, and there is a mix of feelings," she explained with a choked voice.

María Patiño also wanted to thank the unconditional support of the audience, with whom she has created a special bond over these months on TEN. "I have always known that you would never let go of our hand," she assured, showing her gratitude. Although Ni que Fuéramos is coming to an end, viewers will be able to continue enjoying her in a project, La Familia de la Tele, which will premiere on TVE.

In tears, María Patiño confessed how difficult it has been to face this last day. "I've been crying all morning and I say: at ten to four I won't cry, but I couldn't help it," she admitted.

She then introduced a summary of the first episode. In the images, Lydia Lozano could be seen with the rest of her colleagues, reliving those first minutes of broadcast that marked the beginning of this television adventure.

But it wasn't all sadness. After recalling Lydia Lozano, María Patiño smiled as she remembered an anecdote that, at the time, posed a challenge for the show: the name change.

Lydia Lozano, present on set, couldn't help but laugh as she remembered how difficult it was for them to get the format started. A scene full of nostalgia and laughter that helped to lighten the mood amid the farewell.
Without a doubt, today was a program full of emotions, where memories and gratitude were present in every minute of the broadcast. María and her team closed this chapter with the certainty that, although Ni que Fuéramos is coming to an end, its essence will remain alive in its viewers.
