Surprise Announcement From Banco Santander to Thousands of Clients: It's Official, It's Here
Banco Santander has inaugurated a new WorkCafé in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria
Banco Santander has once again pleasantly surprised its customers. This time, it has announced the inauguration of a new WorkCafé in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
This way, this innovative space, located at Avenida Mesa y López, 21, becomes the third that the entity opens in the Canary Islands. This undoubtedly reinforces its commitment to a branch model that goes beyond traditional banking.

Banco Santander and the WorkCafé That Revolutionizes the Banking Experience
The new WorkCafé of Banco Santander in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria has 7,685 sq. ft. (714 square meters) distributed over two floors, designed to offer a modern and dynamic experience. Inside, customers and visitors will find three meeting rooms, coworking areas and a specialty coffee shop, creating an environment designed to foster interaction and productivity.
A team of nine professionals, consisting of seven commercial advisors and two baristas, will be at the users' disposal. Thus, the bank ensures a comprehensive service that combines financial solutions and an inspiring work environment.
With this opening, Banco Santander strengthens its presence in the Canary Islands with three WorkCafés. One is located in an urban center and two on university campuses. This model, which already has 93 spaces in Spain, continues to grow with 31 located in urban centers and 62 in university environments.

The expansion of this concept responds to the demand for spaces that offer more than banking services. This way, they become meeting points for professionals, entrepreneurs and students who seek a place to combine business, networking and relaxation.
Banco Santander has taken a further step with the launch of a digital platform that acts as a meeting point for the WorkCafé community. This online space offers detailed information about the available offices. At the same time, it allows users to register to access the services of the different WorkCafés in Spain.
The website is organized into two distinct sections. In the public part, any visitor can learn what WorkCafé is, locate offices and check the event calendar.

In the private area, registered users can book meeting rooms, use coworking areas or enroll in colloquiums and talks. They can also access streaming videos on topics of interest and participate in solidarity projects promoted by NGOs associated with Banco Santander.
A Concept with International Success
The WorkCafé model is not exclusive to Spain. Since its launch in Chile in 2016, it has successfully expanded to countries such as the United States, Brazil, Argentina, Mexico, Portugal, the United Kingdom and Poland. Its reception has been so positive that Banco Santander continues to expand its network, adapting each space to the needs of its customers in different markets.
The WorkCafés are designed to offer a differential experience to both customers and non-customers. Their philosophy combines personalized banking attention with the possibility of enjoying a space to work, meet or have a quality coffee in a pleasant environment. These centers not only function as bank branches but have also become reference points for entrepreneurship and professional collaboration.
