Banco Santander's Surprise Announcement to Its Customers: It's Official, Effective Immediately

Banco Santander is celebrating. The banking entity has announced the best news to all its customers: the launch of a new edition of the Curso Santander | English Online 2025 - British Council.

It is an English training program designed to improve the language skills and job opportunities of thousands of people. The project, in collaboration with the British Council, will offer a total of 30,000 spots throughout the year, distributed in three calls.

Santander and British Council Open a Call to Learn English

The Curso Santander | English Online 2025 is designed for people with English levels from A1 to C1. Thus, both beginners and those with advanced knowledge can participate.

The training will be developed in two phases. In the first, which lasts 8 weeks, the selected participants will receive access to six thematic modules focused on improving their understanding of the language in different contexts. Additionally, they can attend four sessions where specialized British Council teachers will work on key aspects such as grammar and pronunciation.

One of the most attractive points of the course is its flexibility. Participants will be able to access the content at any time, allowing them to adapt their learning to their pace and availability.

Upon completing each of the modules, students will receive a completion certificate issued by the British Council. Thus, their progress will be accredited and will help them improve their professional profile.

After the first stage, the 1,500 students with the best results will be selected to continue with more advanced training. In this second phase, which will extend over 20 weeks, participants will access up to 18 online classes with a teacher, available in 24-hour schedules.

This format will allow students not only to reinforce their knowledge. In fact, they will also be able to interact with each other and practice the language in a dynamic environment.

Registration Deadlines and Requirements to Participate

Banco Santander has confirmed that registrations for the first call will be open until April 21. All interested parties can register through the Santander Open Academy platform, without needing to be customers of the banking entity.

To apply, candidates must meet two basic requirements, such as being over 18 years old. They must also reside in one of the 13 participating countries, including Spain.

The registration process is simple and accessible to anyone interested in improving their English, regardless of their academic or work situation.
