‘Radical change’: They confirm that things between William and Kate Middleton are getting serious
A silent but revealing decision shows that time brings changes even within the British royal family
There are stages that mark a turning point, even within royal families. There are decisions that, although discreet, reflect deep changes in the way they face public and private life. In the case of William and Kate, the transition is becoming increasingly evident.
Prince William and Kate Middleton have shown in recent months a different way of fulfilling their role in royalty. More than a shift in their agenda, it's a new approach that prioritizes their personal and family life. That attitude has started to become noticeable in their daily routine.

Kate Middleton and Prince William prioritize their family life over duty
Jennie Bond, a royal expert, explained that "school holidays are reserved as private time for the Prince and Princess of Wales and their young family." Nowadays, their plans are kept strictly confidential. The goal is to protect their time together, away from protocol.
The difference from the past is clear. "It's a radical change compared to when William was a child," Bond pointed out, alluding to the constant media exposure of his mother, Diana. Now, the prince chooses to keep the privacy of his home.
Despite that, the heir won't completely disconnect from his responsibilities. The state visit of President Macron is one of his upcoming appointments. Kate Middleton, meanwhile, will be focused on the children, although she might make occasional appearances.

The Prince and Princess of Wales will enjoy rest and family disconnection
The place chosen for this season will be Anmer Hall, in Norfolk. According to Bond, they "love the wide open spaces" and the freedom offered by the Sandringham estate. It's an ideal environment to recharge and enjoy themselves without external pressures.
George, Charlotte, and Louis will have outdoor activities far from the hustle and bustle. "The Sandringham farm gives the children the chance to have all kinds of fun," the expert added. From feeding animals to picking fruit, everything is part of their summer routine.
The family is also considering a possible visit to the Isles of Scilly. It's a recurring destination, where they can enjoy a few days of tranquility. There, the disconnection is almost total, but it won't be their only stop.

Balmoral, the classic that never fails
As every summer, they're expected to spend a few days at Balmoral with the king and queen. "It's almost certain they'll head north of the border for a week," Bond assured. It's a perfect ending for a season lived from a different perspective.
This new pace confirms something more than a vacation choice. There's no doubt that it's a clear way of saying their priorities have changed. This time, the message doesn't need grand speeches.
