Mojácar continues working on sustainability and culture projects, with the support of the Junta de Andalucía and the Provincial Council.

Mojácar is presented at FITUR 2025 highlighting its commitment to sustainability and a varied cultural agenda. The Councilor for Tourism, María Gracia Alarcón, and the Director of the Tourism Office, Carmen García Campoy, lead the delegation.

Both have received the Q for Tourist Quality and S for Sustainability certifications. For the beaches Marina de la Torre, Lance Nuevo, and Venta del Bancal.

These distinctions recognize Mojácar's excellence and environmental commitment. María Gracia Alarcón stated:  "This achievement is the result of our team's tireless work and reinforces our position as a quality destination."

The campaign "Your best moment is to live it" invites you to enjoy unique experiences in Mojácar.  The municipality offers 17 kilometers (10.56 miles) of award-winning beaches and more than 19,000 accommodation places. It also has a varied gastronomic and commercial offer that combines tradition and modernity.

The councilor highlighted:  "The professionalism and effort of the entrepreneurs and merchants have made Mojácar the destination it is today". She also emphasized that Mojácar is an exceptional place to live, with charm at any time of the year.

In 2025,  Mojácar will enrich its tourist proposal with events such as Moors and Christians, the Night of the Candles, and the Mojácar 5 Stars Festival. These celebrations aim to attract visitors throughout the year and combat tourism seasonality.

The town also bets on sports tourism, promoting activities that encourage a healthy lifestyle and attract visitors interested in sports. This initiative seeks to diversify the tourist offer and attract different tourist profiles.
