Mary and Frederik of Denmark's son breaks his silence: sends a message to his father
Prince Christian faces Frederik, marking a milestone in their relationship and in the Danish royal family
In Denmark, the royal family is not only known for their official responsibilities, but also for their involvement in events that foster a spirit of unity and healthy competition. Every year, the Royal Run becomes one of the most significant events, especially for King Frederik, an avid runner and marathoner.
Despite the joy this event brings, this year there was a new challenge in the air. Prince Christian, son of Frederik and Queen Mary, expressed challenging words directly to his father. It should be remembered that Christian has been in intense military training at the Antvorskov barracks.

A prince determined to surpass Frederik
Christian of Denmark, who has been training alongside 150 other soldiers, stated before the race: "I'm fitter than ever." His goal from the beginning was clear: to surpass his father in the race. Confident after having undergone a demanding military regimen, the young prince showed confidence in his ability to surpass Frederik.
The expectations Frederik X had placed on his son were high, but Christian did not disappoint. The crown prince completed the race in 21 minutes and 15 seconds, managing to overtake his father by 4 minutes. Frederik has participated in this race since 2018, starting to do so on the occasion of his 50th birthday.

The participation of the entire royal family
The Royal Run was not just for the men of the royal family; Queen Mary also participated, despite not having been able to train. "My legs were a bit heavy, but it's been a fantastic day," said Mary, showing once again her commitment and spirit of participation.
Princes Isabella, Vincent, and Josephine were also part of the event. Josephine used the Royal House's social media to share her experience: "I just did 3.1 mi. (5 km) too," she wrote, referring to the 3.1 mi. (5 km) she ran. As she crossed the finish line, her siblings were waiting for her with great pride, showing the strong bond that unites this young generation of Danish royalty.
