Mario Vaquerizo and Alaska join forces to announce a very important news
Mario Vaquerizo and Alaska reappear in Madrid and make an important clarification about the singer's health
There's no doubt that these last few months have been especially tough for Mario Vaquerizo and Alaska due to their respective health issues. However, they've now joined forces to talk about the Fangoria vocalist's loss of vision.
It was last December 17 when all the alarms went off around the artist. All after she posted an image of herself with an eye patch on her social media.
The commotion caused around this post was such that Alaska didn't think twice about explaining what had happened to her. According to Mario Vaquerizo's wife, she had suffered a clot in her left eye, which caused her to lose vision.
In the following weeks, the singer has tried to downplay the issue. So much so that she has even publicly stated that, in moments like this, the most important thing is to have patience and follow the doctors' instructions.
However, it seems her words haven't been enough to silence the rumors. In fact, in recent days, there has been speculation that Alaska has gone "blind" in one eye. Information that Mario Vaquerizo's wife quickly denied on the set of TardeAR.
Now, the couple has been seen by a Europa Press team strolling through the streets of downtown Madrid. A moment when they had no problem speaking about this delicate and personal topic.
Mario Vaquerizo and Alaska Reveal All the Updates on the Singer's Health Issue: "It's Time"
This Thursday, January 16, Alaska reappeared alongside Mario Vaquerizo, without makeup and without the patch on. However, the singer didn't hesitate to cover her eye to speak with reporters from the mentioned communication agency:
"It's time and what recovers little by little with the treatment, there's no other way," assured the Fangoria vocalist. A moment her husband wanted to take advantage of to dispel all the rumors that have been caused about his wife's loss of vision.
"Come on, that's enough, huh? They had said she had lost all vision, and that's not true, it's just that she's in the process," Mario Vaquerizo clarified emphatically.
On the other hand, Alaska's husband also spoke about his own recovery after falling off the stage at the Horteralia festival last October:
"I'm already tired of wearing scarves, I seem very haughty like that, and no, I prefer to be more down-to-earth. Everything's fine... We're also very embarrassed to keep saying we're fine, we understand the concern."
