Lydia Lozano Acknowledges What Happened with Kiko Hernández: 'We Talked a Lot and...'
The journalist has revealed details of her relationship with her colleague Kiko Hernández and other coworkers in a recent interview
Lydia Lozano has always been a whirlwind of emotions on television, and her authenticity has been both her greatest strength and the target of criticism. In an interview, the journalist acknowledged what happened with Kiko Hernández during their trip to Miami, as well as discussing her relationship with other colleagues from Ni que fuéramos. "We talked a lot and I discovered a Patiño who is fun," she confessed, revealing a lesser-known side of her friend.
Since the end of the iconic show, the relationships among the former collaborators have been the subject of speculation. Are they still friends, or have they drifted apart over time? Lydia has made it clear that the friendship persists, but also that the world of television can be an unpredictable trench.

The Reality Behind Her Friendship with the Collaborators of Ni que fuéramos
Away from the cameras and the television frenzy, Lydia Lozano has shown that her relationship with her former colleagues goes beyond the set. "In the trench, there are always friends because they have to cover for you, but in the heat of battle, you never know where the blows will come from," she commented sincerely.
However, she highlighted that she has had great friendships in Sálvame, both inside and outside the show. The trip organized by Netflix for the promotion of Ni que fuéramos was an opportunity to reunite with her colleagues in a different environment. "Matamoros was splendid, with Kiko Hernández I shared many hours of flight and we talked a lot," she assured Diez Minutos.

The journalist also mentioned that she discovered a new facet of María Patiño: "She is fun, she gets angry... The one we see now in Ni que fuéramos. It's like we're in the living room at home on this show. We call it the little apartment... It's Sálvame at its fullest," she confessed.
The Book That Changed Lydia Lozano's Life
The departure from Sálvame marked a turning point in her life. Faced with the uncertainty of her professional future, Lydia found an escape route in her La venganza de la llorona. "Many people told me: Why don't you retire? Why don't you stay at home? I believe that you have to keep your mind occupied and as long as I can, I'll keep working," she confessed.
Her work, which bears a provocative title, arises from a need to assert herself: "Not vengeful at all. In fact, if you read the book, I don't take revenge on anyone. I talk about my life, my experiences, my interviews, my exclusives," she stated.
According to Lydia, the title is a kind of response to all those who have called her "the crybaby" in a derogatory way. "I was tired of that, so when Sálvame ended, I decided to make my revenge, which is this book. I've also cried a lot with it."
For Lydia, it was important that her book reflected her essence. "It's very drinkable. You can read it as if you were having a coffee," she assured about her friends' opinions.

Her writing method was peculiar, as she chose to record herself and then transcribe to maintain the spontaneity of her speech. "I wanted it to be very me, for people who read it to recognize me completely, like when I speak on TV."
In fact, she also confessed that the writing process also had a therapeutic effect. "It was my therapy. Thanks to the book, I've shed many layers, I'm more myself, and I've learned to put my TV problems into perspective."
However, the journalist acknowledges that many anecdotes were left out. "I didn't want anyone to get angry," she admitted with humor. This is why she hasn't ruled out releasing a second book.
Lydia Lozano has once again shown that she is much more than a familiar face on television. Her confessions about Kiko Hernández and María Patiño, along with the release of her first book, have made it clear that behind the cameras there is a determined and sincere woman. What does the future hold for this tireless journalist?
