Konecta and Upsource by Solutions Join to Offer CX-Driven Solutions
Both companies join forces to combine local expertise and global innovation with a hybrid onshore-offshore CX model.
Konecta, a world leader in customer experience (CX) solutions and digital services, signs a strategic alliance for the next three years with Saudi Telecom, through upsource by solutions, the leading business process outsourcing (BPO) provider in Saudi Arabia. This agreement, signed at LEAP 2025, aims to accelerate the adoption of GenAI-based customer experience solutions in Saudi Arabia and throughout the Gulf region.
Through this collaboration, both companies will jointly seek new market opportunities: upsource by solutions will contribute an investment of 120 million dollars, and Konecta will offer budgetary support in presales processes. Thus, the alliance will focus on providing GenAI-based customer experience solutions tailored to both the internal requirements of upsource by solutions and the changing needs of its clients. By adopting a hybrid onshore-offshore model, flexible, scalable, and high-impact solutions will be ensured throughout the region.
"Delighted to partner with upsource by solutions to advance Konecta's strategic expansion in the Middle East," explains Ahmad Elharany, General Manager of the Middle East and Africa Market at Konecta. "Saudi Arabia and the Gulf region are key markets for the company, and by collaborating with a strong local player like upsource by solutions, it is possible to offer innovative GenAI-driven customer experience solutions that meet the changing needs of businesses in the region."
Additionally, Naif Al Mogbel, CEO of upsource by solutions, states that "this partnership with Konecta is a significant step in transforming the BPO landscape in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf region. By integrating advanced GenAI-driven solutions, not only are customer experiences enhanced, but new benchmarks for operational efficiency and digital innovation are also established. This investment reflects the company's commitment to empowering businesses with intelligent, scalable, and future-ready solutions that drive long-term success."
Meanwhile, Nourdine Bihmane, CEO of Konecta, adds: "by leveraging Konecta's expertise in GenAI and digital transformation, this collaboration will enable the delivery of cutting-edge customer experience solutions tailored to the region's unique needs. This partnership will drive innovation, improve operational efficiency, and empower businesses to elevate customer satisfaction through data-driven intelligent interactions."
Added to the recent opening of a new headquarters in New Cairo, Egypt, this alliance underscores Konecta's strategic focus on global expansion and consolidating its presence in the Middle East, as part of its new business plan for the next three years: Katalyst 2028.
