Kensington Palace prepares for the big bomb: Kate Middleton and William, on the verge
The pressure on the couple is growing at Kensington Palace, as they must make decisions that will define their immediate future
The British Royal House continues to be a constant source of headlines and debates worldwide. Decisions made at Kensington and Buckingham Palace are closely watched by media and citizens. In this scenario, Prince William and Kate Middleton become protagonists of expectations and analyses that shape the royal image.
Internal tensions within the royal family transcend the private sphere to become a public matter of great impact. Public opinion influences how conflicts and reconciliations are managed. It is in this context that recent statements have sparked a new wave of controversies in the British Crown.

Statements that have fueled the controversy
Prince Harry has recently been at the center of another controversy that has shaken the British Royal Family. After losing a legal case in which he sought to protect his security during visits to the United Kingdom, the Duke of Sussex gave an interview to the BBC. In this context, he made statements that have not gone unnoticed.
In his words, Harry acknowledged that there have been "many disagreements between some members of my family and me," but he assured that "I have now forgiven them." He also expressed his desire to "reconcile with my family, there's no point in continuing to fight, life is precious."
However, he added a reason that has drawn special attention: "I don't know how much time my father has left," referring to King Charles III. A figure with whom he keeps distance, justified by "security issues."

More pressure for Prince William and Kate Middleton
Far from easing tensions, these statements have provoked a wave of criticism. Experts and citizens believe that Harry has violated the privacy surrounding the Crown, a particularly sensitive issue for the institution.
Meanwhile, AN Wilson declared to the Daily Mail that "Harry and Meghan should be stripped of their royal titles." Arguing that "the public is fed up with their pathetic stance, for this single and unforgivable reason." For Wilson, the couple's actions have caused "irreparable damage" to the monarchy's image.

This stance is not isolated because some recent polls, like the one published by The Mirror, reflect majority support for the removal of Harry and Meghan's royal titles. Although some doubt that Prince William, heir to the throne, has the authority to make such a decision, many believe that "William has no choice and must act accordingly." In fact, some even suggest that the prince could "be vindictive enough to do it, something that would undoubtedly horrify Princess Diana's memory."
A user argued: "The main goal should be to remove Harry and any child he has from the line of succession." And added that Harry has proven to be "unworthy and inappropriate to hold a public position in the monarchy." This growing pressure places William and Kate in a critical situation.
Harry's interview, far from uniting the family, has intensified the controversy. Kensington Palace faces a decisive moment. William and Kate's stance could mark a turning point in the recent history of the Crown.
