Ingrid Seward, Expert: 'Charles III Cares That...'
King Charles III faces new challenges, while his decisions and the future of the royalty are closely watched
Charles III, despite concerns about his health, continues to show his unwavering commitment to duty. Since his cancer diagnosis, the British monarch has tried to maintain calm and control. However, his relentless dedication to the monarchy has led him to face physical and emotional exhaustion that has worried many.
In recent weeks, the king has shown evident signs of wear due to his treatment. His physical appearance, although always dignified, has not gone unnoticed by observers. The monarch continues to struggle to fulfill his schedule, despite medical recommendations to slow down.

The Burden of Charles III's Responsibility
According to expert Ingrid Seward, Charles III is going through a very difficult period. "Receiving cancer treatment every week for over a year is suffering for anyone," she noted. Seward highlighted the pressure the king faces: "It's unbelievable that he still continues to work at that level, but the burden is overwhelming," the expert explained.
Meanwhile, Phil Dampier, a royal expert, also believes it's time for the monarch to slow down. Dampier commented that, "Charles has always worked to the point of exhaustion, staying up late and falling asleep at his desk." In Dampier's opinion: "it's vital that he takes care of his health, and Queen Camilla is probably the only person he'll listen to."

An Opportunity for Other Family Members
Charles III's exhaustion also opens the door for other members of the royal family to take a more active role. Dampier sees in this situation an opportunity for Sophie of Edinburgh to increase her involvement. "Sophie has performed excellently both at home and abroad and has shown that she is ready to take on more responsibilities," the expert highlighted.
According to Dampier, "Harry and Meghan nor Prince Andrew exist anymore for the crown," so Sophie's opportunity is even more important. Additionally, he assured that Princess Anne, due to her age and recent hospitalization, is not in a position to take on greater tasks.
"Sophie of Edinburgh is the right person to step up and relieve Charles's burden," Dampier concluded. Meanwhile, Seward also highlighted the importance of the royal family adapting to current circumstances. "Charles remains the king, but the reality is that his health must be a priority," added the editor-in-chief of Royalty Magazine.
Charles III, despite the adversities, remains committed to his role. However, experts agree that his insistence on maintaining such a tight schedule could be detrimental to his health. The royal family, like never before, could face a new phase where other members, like Sophie of Edinburgh, play a more prominent role.
