The text details that "some individuals responsible for controlling the shopping center's security cameras provided access to the images to a Chilean media outlet. This  would constitute a violation of current data protection regulations in Chile, as well as in Spain."

In this regard, the institution emphasizes that "this is unacceptable behavior and not everything goes. Therefore, in coordination with the Spanish Embassy, it has been decided to report this administrative violation to the Chilean authorities."
