Iñaki Urdangarin has returned to the media spotlight in a big way today. He has surprised everyone by giving an interview to La Vanguardia, in which he has spoken at length.

However, among the things that have attracted the most attention is that he has announced what his life is like alongside Ainhoa Armentia. She has been his girlfriend for several years now, and they recently took a trip to Sicily together.

He explained, "My life is very routine. I get up early, I exercise, I start working afterwards, then I spend time on different hobbies. I do the housework together with my partner."

"When I have my children, I enjoy them. It's an orderly life. I've reconnected with simple things, which after all the stages of my life is what I want the most."

He lives with her in Vitoria, a city he chose for an important reason after his time in prison. In this regard, he explained, "I settled there because of the third degree, because I had to have a job and it was a starting point. I saw it as a city that is very comfortable for me, familiar because I spent some years of my childhood there."

He added, "I've lived 40 years in Catalonia. I've had four children in Catalonia, and most of my friends and family are in Catalonia. Making the trip between Vitoria and Barcelona is familiar to me, something normal."

In the same interview, Iñaki Urdangarin has also wanted to talk about something that has always mattered to him: his children. He has especially focused on Pablo, who is following in his footsteps in the world of handball. He has done so with the pride of a father and the sincerity of a former elite athlete.

About the young man, he stated, "I'm very insistent with him, ha, ha, ha, but it's fantastic because he listens," he confessed, laughing. He has shared three pieces of advice he has given him as a father and as a professional.

First, humility: "If he thought he was something, the next day he would be nothing." Second, attitude: "To play handball you have to have a warrior's attitude. You can't be half-hearted or complain about playing in a position you don't like."

Third, emotional management: "After victories, you start again from scratch. After defeats, you can take good things for the future."
