Emotion with What Laura Madrueño Has Said About Her Husband, Álvaro Puerto: 'I Don't Know'
Laura Madrueño reveals how Álvaro Puerto handles being apart for so long due to his work on 'Supervivientes'
In the last interview she gave just before the premiere of Survivors 2025, Laura Madrueño managed to move more than one person when talking about her husband, Álvaro Puerto. As the host confirmed, "I still don't know how long I'll be" separated from him.
This Thursday, March 6, this famous reality show kicked off its new edition, which will be marked by the mysterious role that Terelu Campos will play.

During its first broadcast, the show's followers were able to see the iconic jumps of the contestants from the helicopter. Additionally, they also enjoyed the first challenge of the season, which has been led by Laura Madrueño.
However, a few days before starting this adventure, the television host gave an interview to the newspaper 20 Minutos. At that moment, she had no problem talking about her husband.

Without mincing words, Laura Madrueño openly revealed how Álvaro Puerto is handling "those months of absence." "Well, not very well," the journalist assured with a laugh.
Meanwhile, despite how badly her partner is handling being away from her for so many months, the television host still doesn't know when she will return to Spain. "I still don't know how long I'll be there," she added.

As in other editions, Survivors 2025 is expected to last approximately three months. However, it wouldn't be the first time the show extends or shortens its broadcast days.
This uncertainty has caused Laura Madrueño not to know exactly when she will return to Madrid with her husband, Álvaro Puerto. Something she revealed a few days ago through that interview.

Additionally, the television host confessed that her partner is not the only one who suffers during her stay in Honduras. So much so that she even assured that her parents "are having a really hard time, to be honest."
However, both Álvaro Puerto and his in-laws have the luck and support of the reality show's organization to visit Laura Madrueño in the Cayos Cochinos. "He will come to visit me, and my parents, most likely too," she confirmed to the aforementioned media outlet.
Meanwhile, the communicator had no problem answering other questions related to her role in Survivors. Among them, how she mentally prepares year after year to live this experience:
"Mentally, I'm much stronger than the first and second year, because fortunately, the human brain learns and assimilates," Laura Madrueño confirmed. However, she made it clear that what is really complicated "is maintaining contact with the family":
"With the eight-hour time difference, when you're getting up here, I'm going to bed. On gala days, you don't have time for anything either, so you end up drifting further away. The reality show absorbs you, on one hand, and you drift away from life in Spain."
