Terelu Campos is participating in Supervivientes simply as a personal challenge and to try to surpass her sister, Carmen Borrego. The truth is that she is surprising with how she is facing the experience. Not only did she jump from the helicopter, but she is providing entertainment and has completed some challenges.

However, last night, after activating the abandonment protocol, she announced that she wanted to leave, that she couldn't take it anymore. This stance led to encouragement from the studio for her to stay, and her daughter, Alejandra Rubio, also did so. The young woman said: "We are very proud of you."

"You are being a champion, you have exceeded expectations by far, hang in there, please, it will do you a lot of good and your body can take it. You are a champion, I didn't expect to see you like this."

To which she added: "We are seeing the Teresa we all want to see. Those of us who know you know how you are, but I liked to imagine that this could be the case and it has been. We are super happy to see how you are acting, you are giving us great moments, so don't come back yet because everything here is great."

Moved by Alejandra's words and Jorge Javier Vázquez's encouragement, Terelu replied with a sincerity that moved everyone. She said: "I understand that I am seen like this and it seems that everything is fine. But if I could convey to you what I feel in my body, inside, I am sure you would understand me."

It was at that moment when the participant of Supervivientes decided to confess the truth about her health, as a consequence of the cancer she suffered and the medication she continues to take. Thus, through tears, she stated: "Everyone knows what has happened to me in life. I have been on very strong medication for many years, tremendous."

"That makes my body very weak in many aspects, especially in the muscular and bone aspects. Sleeping on the sand, with a mat, hurts me from here to down there."

To which she added: "I can't play with what has cost me so much to achieve. Advancing with myself, being able to try to do a job every day with dignity, even if I suffer and have pain, it's mine and no one else's. Because it's mine and no one else's, I have always tried to pretend that I wasn't suffering."

Visibly moved, she continued to explain: "I hate making my loved ones suffer and I reject pity and compassion. I am alive and that is the most important thing in life. That has allowed me to be here, to live the experience and to have fought with everything."

Jorge Javier Vázquez, visibly impacted by what she was saying, said: "We don't know the extent of what you are experiencing. You are hiding..."

She continued the sentence: "I am hiding a very significant internal deterioration, but I learn to live with it with a minimal amount of comfort. I surpass myself every day of my life. I go out to work and have fun and when I get back, I am exhausted, but I need to live."

"I have chosen to live, but I live and pay that price for living, and for being like everyone else, even though inside I am not. That's why every day, for me, is an overcoming. I have close people who have never been aware of how I live until they have seen what it is like to start taking a certain medication and they tell me: 'This is terrible.'"

A sincerity that led Jorge to add: "You are leaving me touched. I don't know if you are pretending so that others don't ask you more. It's a reality I was unaware of, I am convinced that many people don't know it."

This way, Terelu finally admitted the truth of what it means for her to be on Supervivientes. She wanted to stop hiding what is behind her attempt to leave. However, she decided to postpone the decision until next Sunday.
