Prince Albert breaks the silence with a revealing message about his mother, which shows the whole truth about Grace Kelly
Naming Monaco's royal family immediately brings to mind glamour and tradition. Without any doubt, talking about the members of Monaco Palace means recalling a story marked by controversies and, at the same time, the deep connection among its members. The legacy of figures like Princess Grace Kelly is still alive, even decades after her passing.
Grace Kelly has been one of the most beloved people in the Principality and has kept a place in the people's hearts. This summer, Prince Albert of Monaco has made a decision regarding the memory of his mother.

A detail of Grace Kelly's private life comes to light
The Grace#1 exhibition is being held in the historic Grimaldi Palace, covering 969 sq. ft. (90 m²) of space. It will be available from July 5 to September 14. With a carefully curated selection of personal items, unpublished photos, and family mementos, the exhibition is a tribute to the princess.
The exhibition is curated by Natalia Mlodzikowska, director of the Palace's Collections Department. The guest curator is Marie-Eve Mestre.
The exhibition offers an intimate and unembellished view of the woman behind the icon. Far from clichés, Grace Kelly is presented in a more authentic light, inviting visitors to get to know her as a real woman.

The four facets that define Grace Kelly
The exhibition is divided into four main themes that reflect different stages of Grace Kelly's life. From her youth, captured on the beaches of Jamaica, to her role as a loving mother and photography enthusiast and amateur filmmaker.
The pieces on display range from the princess's jewelry to her iconic Hermès Kelly bag. In addition, details such as a floral tapestry inspired by her love of nature and an immersive atmosphere. Those with a rose fragrance create a unique sensory experience.

Grace Kelly, a timeless figure
What sets Grace#1 apart is its ability to humanize such a well-known figure. This exhibition doesn't aim to be a conventional retrospective, but rather an artistic and emotional exploration of her private life.
With this exhibition, Prince Albert of Monaco offers the world a new perspective on his mother. A woman known for her status and beauty. However, she was also recognized as a mother who left an indelible mark on her family and the Principality.
Opening the Palace doors to show the most personal side of Grace Kelly is the way Albert pays tribute to his mother. He does so by showing her as a real, complex, and approachable woman. The exhibition is a glimpse into Grace's heart and her legacy, which remains an essential part of Monaco's history.
